I knew about this, but it's a surprisingly good trick that many people don't really consider.

Neat trick for sure, alot of people don't know about it even though it's right there to see almost all the time.
Does anyone know if FL supports groove templates?

Yeah, this is cool and all, but the one tool, tip, trick and piece of knowledge you should know that can really add swing, as well as much more emotions into a track is the velocity of the notes. Fuck yeah, obvious but amazing to know.

I've used that trick before and I agree its a great way to add swing to your track. The one thing I don't like is you can't have it just add swing to one pattern and leave the others alone, so you have to do the whole send-to-midi thing every time you want it.
