Sylenth1 Brony Essentials soundbank is finally out!

We wanted to share with you the awesomeness and power of LennarDigital's Sylenth1, and one of the ways to do that is to pool our talents together and make a free soundbank for all musicians out there, brony or not. The soundbank is a result of a lengthy collaboration between Archie, Gravey, HMage, JayB, Michael A., SoaringFlight, TeiThePony, Thorinair and Thyrai, working hard to bring you a great set of sounds, ready for use in your music.

We hope that you enjoy using the patches as much as we enjoyed making them!

NOTE: All sounds shown in this demo (except for drums) are 100% Sylenth1.

Requirements:
---------------

This soundbank requires LennarDigital Sylenth1 version 2.211 or upwards to function correctly. There is no guarantee that it will work with older versions. This version is currently stable and available for Microsoft Windows XP/7/8 and Apple OS X Mountain Lion in both 32 and 64 bit variants.

LennarDigital Sylenth1 is compatible with Image-Line Fruity Loops, Ableton Live, Apple Logic, Steinberg Cubase and any digital audio workstation (DAW) that supports VST plugins. LennarDigital Sylenth1 is available for both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X Mountain Lion.

You can't open up one synth inside of another synth. You don't need Massive to open up Sylenth. Sylenth probably works as a standalone, so you may not even need a daw. Otherwise, you can just open up FL, go to CHANNELS (top left corner) > Add one > More... and then hit the refresh button on the bottom of the screen that pops up. If Sylenth doesn't appear for you, you need to move the folder containing the synth to FL's synth folder, which should be inside of the Image-Line folder that was created when you bought/downloaded FL that is inside of the Programs(x86)

Anyways, I have a question. Did you guys completely recreate the synths on sylenth, or did you ask the original artists for the presets and they sent them to you? Because I'm not even sure if all the presets were originally created in Sylenth, haha.

It works only in other DAWs, it is not a standalone. Also, Thyrai is one of the people who worked with us, he is just trolling ya. ;)

As for recreating, no. All of the patches were made completely from scratch.

It's the other way around.

We were making sounds in Sylenth, without any aim to sound like this or that, and then JayB made demos from these sounds.

The demo is just for demonstration purposes and the patches weren't made for specific parts in the demo, the soundbank was completed before work on demo mp3 was even started.

OOooh, so you guys got all the people credited together and made some patches, haha. I thought those were patches from songs that the credited people made.

I'm not sure if this is some super elegant troll, but thyrai made some of the patches, and it's pretty clear he's kidding around.

Anyway, this makes me wish I had the money for sylenth, it sounds amazing. Great work guys.

The most obvious solution: Contact them
That is, unless you're using the pirated version of it, in which case we can't help you.

Did you try updating it? Sounds like you might have an outdated version. This bank requires 2.21.
