It's great that you made a tutorial for this, LMMS is a good program to start off with since its free to download and runs on all the OS (as far as I know).

Was always wondering how LMMS worked myself, might even download it and give it a try after I'm done watching this 40 min long video!

Thank you for this, Circuitfry! The documentation only took me so far, so this was really helpful.

Yeah it is indeed super long, I screw around a bit too much. Usually I'll make my tutorial videos super short, but this was a rushed deal. Sadly, LMMS is not available for Mac. I think it might be due to VST support or perhaps it just isn't coded for it. Idk.

Somehow I watched it all. I might mess around with LMMS a little more now, thanks Circuit. <3

So I guess this Tutorial of the Week thing is in full swing now? I wanna do a tutorial like this for Ableton, should I do it whenever or wait when it's my week?

Circuitfry I loved that tutorial, if you want specific bugs fixed in lmms ask me and I'll see what I can do. Just give me the exact steps to recreate them. It would help if you're familiar with compiling and git, but if not I could set up a ubuntu vm and generate my own packages for testing. My programming-fu is stronger than my remix-fu. :)

Links to bugs in the bug tracker are acceptable too.

My Remix-Fu is 10,000 times more superior than my Code-Fu. =P

There seems to be a guy who also did a lot of lmms videos, although he called his second set differently because he was no longer exclusively focusing on lmms:
