[Resolved] Do I need a good internal soundcard?

I'm thinking about buying a PC while Cyber Monday sales are on, and I know everything I want except for the soundcard. Right now I'm using a Macbook Pro, with a AudioBox USB. Do I need a good internal card, or does the AudioBox function as one? Sorry if this sounds really noob-y, I'm pretty bad when it comes to computer hardware.

Thanks in advance

I would get the average PC sound card with the 1/8" headphone and mic jacks, the ones every PC/laptop has.

That soundcard will work so you don't need one, it will handle all your sound but I would get a cheap one for re-sale or emergency purposes.

OK, so the internal one would be just a backup and for other stuff like gaming? If that's the case I can shave a hundred or so dollars off what I had built which would be nice.

Yeah, basically a backup.

Alright, thanks a ton. It'll be so nice to produce with more then two gigs of RAM, and not spending much on a sound card means I'll probably have enough to buy Live 9 Suite rather then the normal one.
