Currently my list...

Workstation:
- Aerocool Vx-R LE case
- AMD Phenom II Sixcore processor
- ATI/AMD Sapphire HD6770
- GeIL 16GB DDR3-1333 RAM (geil is Dutch for horny...)

Secondary System (always on the move):
- HP Beats Pavilion dv7 laptop
This particular laptop was a showmodel in a hardware store. They upgraded it with an i7 processor, put some extra RAM in it and gave it a better graphics card, while the specs in the webshop were original. So I didn't even know that when I ordered it! Pleasant surprise! Got a lot of extra performance for less money than a new one would cost. They had only one though, since it was a showroom model. When I noticed it, it felt like I won the lottery. :P

Operating System:
- Windows 7 Home Premium OEM

Hardware:
- Wacom Cintiq 12WX
- Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 audio interface (they just put it on sale for about 100 euros less than what I paid for it, DAMN IT!)
- M-Audio Keyrig 49 Midi Keyboard
- Samon C01 USB Studio Condenser Mic (+mic stand, shock mount and pop filter)
- Sennheiser HD215 DJ Headphones
- Reloop ADM-5 Active DJ Monitors

Software (VST's only included when they're 3rd party):
- Fruity Loops 10 XXL
- Ableton Live 8
- Melodyne Studio 3
- Audacity
- Sony Vegas Pro 10 (yes I actually use this for prepping samples...)
- Drumazon 909 clones
- Izotope Ozone 4
- z3ta
- Camelphat
- dblue Glitch
- NI Massive
- NI Kontakt 4
- NI Reaktor 5
- NI Guitar Rig 4
- NI Elements (3gb sound pack)

FL Native plugins I frequently use:
- Sytrus (nice synth)
- EQUO (equalising equalising equalising)
- Blood Overdrive (UUUUNLIMITED POOWWAAAAAAA!!!)
- Sawer (pumps out some awesome leads)
- Hardcore (for some nice optimisable distortion effects)
- Maximus (it masters without latency, good enough!)
- Fast Dist (when I'm lazy)
- Love Philter (karate chop on those samples, dangit!)
- Vocodex (for awesome autotuning)
- Reeverb 2 (gotta have ALL the reverb!)
- WaveShaper (useful for kickdesign and making sounds sound more aggressive and distorted)
- Delay Bank Bank Bank Bank Bank
- Wave Candy (aren't soundwaves just the most beautiful thing ever?)

Actual Instruments:
- Grand Piano
- Clarinet
- Oboe

I don't know why I added those comments to the native FL plugins... Don't judge me. :?

Probaby forgot a thing or 2 but I can't be assed to check...

Sure, I'll bite~!

Hardware

  • Alesis Micron, mostly used as a MIDI keyboard
  • Novation Zero SL MK II, doesn't see as much use as it should.
  • BeyerDynamic DT150 Headphones. Built like a tank and accurate as accurate can be.
  • Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS. Handy front panel, good ASIO and great sound.
  • Behringer HA400 Headphone amp
  • Old Tascam 4-Track, because I'm oldskool and manly as fuck.

Software

  • Renoise 2.8, the best tracker in the universe!
  • SoundForge 10. I like it because it's totally transparent to your workflow, with its universal copy and paste and mp4 support.
  • Lots of TAL VSTs, their delay and chorus is the best AROUND
  • TranceDrive is my subtractive workhorse. Doesn't get enough praise at all, very nice subsynth with a clearly laid out interface.
  • ADM Virtual 808/909/606 VST. Essential percussive goodness.
  • NI FM7. It's a DX7 in a VST. Top basslines.
  • Korg Digital Legacy pack. M1 and Wavestation, both see heavy use
  • NastyVCS Compressor+Mixer Strip. Gives a very retro compression and colouration to the sound. Me gusta.
  • Wayyy too many other VSTs and little things to list. I could go on forever!

Hardware
Custom AMD quadcore PC
HP qwerty keyboard

Software
Milkytracker

That's about it. I've tried using FL Studio before, but I could never really get the hang of it. and I don't use VSTs all that often either. I'm usually using basic .wav files. :p

gogo cheap studio of unrelated crap.

Hardware:
- Shitty Windows XP that can't run two things at the same time without crashing.
- Awesome Logitech speakers that can't be used to their full potential due to stupid computer.
- $20 Logitech mic.
- $80 Logitech mic that is worse in quality than my cheap one. ._.

Software: (I'd have more, but too many things running at once [including plug-ins] will crash the computer)
- ACID Music Studio 8.0
- Sony DLS Synth (a freebie that was tossed in, a lot of instruments but not very good in quality)
- dBlue Glitch

Instruments that I sometimes record with:
- Horrible and cheap I&K Bb Trumpet.
- Awesome and expensive Jupiter Bb Trumpet.
* Cheap, broken Harmon Mute.
* Humes & Berg Straight Mute.
- Toy piano that I lost.
- Out-of-tune piano.
- Random tables and desks that I hit with pens.
currently on a hiatus from actively making music due to school
