The "Looking for a vocalist?" List

From scales and semitones to pentatonics and cadence patterns. It's all about the science behind the expression, here.

I need to be temporarily removed from this list, cause my mic broke :(
And i've been meaning to get a better vocal sample but I was lazy :|
I'll repost again once I either fix my current setup, or buy a new mic.

I might try get an entry on the list sooner or later. I'm an ok-ish singer and I'm gonna get my condenser mic working sooner or later.

Hello, world!

I have been a long time member of the fandom but only recently have I begun delving into the community side of things.
That being said, I am mostly inept instrumentally but may be able to provide vocals to various projects!

Here is my profile for you:

~IamMadetoFall Male

Main Skill: Singing - I am willing to try just about anything up to and including rap, but I cannot growl or anything. And while I might pretend to - I cannot beat-box! :P

Vocal Range: Moderate-mid-range (See samples)
Vocal Sample:
Snowdrop's Lullaby - Cover : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34qMEhMUEzg

Trinn (So Far Away) - Original : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13WpdKI1I-8

The sky is falling - Original (Light Rap sample) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWjUjlzZTac
I apologize for the quality of this one, I was without a mic and was forced to record the audio with a camera. :) That being said, I have equipment now and I also don't pretend to be hip like I did at the beginning of the track anymore, so don't let that worry you. <3

Impossible - Cover : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXj15xy8Bg4

Contact: Mylittleremix.com PM, Youtube PM (Iammadetofall)
Extra: Can write own lyrics

As a vocalist looking to expand myself, It definitely pays to write something down here.

I definitely qualify as a Tenor voice - I'm not sure how I'd be more specific then that.

Added, though your information is very limited. I changed the style of the list so that it'd be easier for the people looking for vocalists to find the right person, not so that you guys could tell me less info. If you honesty want to be a vocalist on the list please fill out all of the information required. Leave chopping it up into an easy-to-read format to me please.

<Username & Gender>

<Vocal Range> (i.e. baritone, soprano etc.)

<Genres/Speciality> (This is where you put genres you can or can't do and any techniques your especially good at, for instance, really fast singing, slow opera style singing etc.)

<Audio Quality> (A short description of your setup, including mic and recording program)

<Vocal Sample> (A link to either a song or just plain vocals you sing so others can hear your talent. Note: if linking a song make sure to be clear which vocalist you are if there are more than one.)

<Easiest way to contact you> (Email, MLR, Skype, Youtube, whatever you're on regularly enough that if someone tries to contact you, you can answer quickly.)

<Anything else> (Basically if there's anything else you want to mention here, feel free)

<Username & Gender> KJOokami - Male

(Approximate) <Vocal Range> Baritone (((F2-G4; Chest Voice) F4-C5; Mixed Register) A4-G5; Falsetto)

<Genres/Specialty> My voice seems to lend itself best to musical theatre; I'm pretty good when it comes to singing in-character. I am also fairly comfortable with pop and rock, and apparently I try to rap sometimes. I'm open to trying pretty much any other genre as well, though I can tell you right now that anything like hard rock and heavy metal is probably out of the realm of possibility.

<Audio Quality> I'm currently running with a Samson CO1U USB condenser mic; the program I use for recording is Sonar X1 LE--which came with the mic.

<Vocal Sample> Put together a little compilation of some of the stuff I've done, which you can find here: https://soundcloud.com/lackadaisical-en ... es-for-mlr

(If you'd like to hear a sample of my rapping ability, check out my Youtube channel--which should be linked in my signature; my newest video is a rap/parody of Flobots' song Handlebars.)

<Easiest way to contact you> Either email me (kjookami[at]gmail[dot]com) or contact me via Skype (kyle[dot]jacob[dot]kington).

<Anything else> Um. Well, I do a fairly good Big Mac impression, and can give a passable imitation of Shining Armor, Soarin', Blueblood, and possibly others (haven't really tried others, but am open to giving anyone a shot). And I can sing pretty well in Big Mac's voice as well (again, not certain about others, but I'm always willing to give it a shot!).

Oh, and I'm pretty boss at doing handstands.

<Tremil - Male>

<Vocal Range> I guess midish lowish? Dont really have one

<Genres/Speciality> Rap

<Audio Quality> Decent with some mixing. I use a Guitar Hero USB microphone and use Sony Soundforge to record.

<Vocal Sample> http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... pNAA#t=85s (The 2nd rapper. Started the track at where i come in)

<Easiest way to contact you> Skype Name: Realtremil

Im kind of a slow worker depending on my conditions at the time. Im more of a cliche party/club type rapper but I am wanting to lean more towards a hip hop style eventually.

I'm doing this for a friend who's asking for promotion.

<Username & Gender> Sylver, queer

<Vocal Range> Definitely a soprano. A strong mezzo-belt range, with some crazy high soprano reach.

<Genres/Speciality> Well rounded and all around versatile singer. Can do highly dynamic performances, and imprint drama and personality as per the particular needs of the song.

<Audio Quality> Pop screen -> USB mic -> PC, using Mixcraft as primary software.

<Vocal Sample> Sample 1 Sample 2

<Easiest way to contact you> [email protected]

<Anything else> Not limited to ponies, interested in voice acting too.

I am looking for a vocalist as well, being new here I probably should have posted here first, but oh well.
I am simply looking for a male vocalist to accompany the instrumentals: https://soundcloud.com/themaomao27/newe ... strumental

If interested, please either reply and/or pm me with contact info. Lyrics are already written as well.

Just a reminder guys that the list does have contact info for a reason. You're more likely to get a response and results if you actually pursue a vocalist, rather then just posting in the thread.
