Looking for a Tutor/Mentor on Rock and Metal songs?

Postby BronyMetalMix » 07 Jan 2015 20:39

Hey every pony,
Recently I've been wanting to get into Rock/Metal song production. I feel I do have a few good melodies or chord progressions for a few songs. But my problem is that I'm not sure how to fully bring out the full potential of a song in production. I do have a project right now that I've been working on but it's very hard because it's my first production with this genre. I feel like sometimes I worry when I work that I'll just sit there looking at the screen..not knowing where to continue or to go.

What I'm asking is if anyone has any experience with creating rock and metal songs would you be willing to help at all? Stuff like
- Transitions
- Finding the best drum beat
- Mixing
- Mastering
Are what I need some help with when it comes to this kind of genre.

I very much appreciate your time in taking to read this and hope someone would love to teach someone.

Thanks,
Note Wise
