Free Compressor Plugin & $25 Voucher from NI

Postby Conduit » 16 Dec 2013 12:54

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that Native Insturments is giving away their new compressor up until Christmas. It's called Supercharger, and while I haven't been able to try it out yet it looks pretty cool. It's going to sell for $50 once the New Year starts, so grab it while it's free.

They are also giving away a $25 dollar coupon for use on any of their stuff, so if you missed the big thanksgiving sale they just had, now's your opportunity to pick up Maschine expansions or what not for a good amount off. They also are giving away some remix sets for DJ's, but I honestly couldn't tell you anything about them since I've never DJ'd. Find all that here

Looks really flashy, making me suspicious of it, but I downloaded it nevertheless. Free software is good software 25.79% of the time.

Not bad for using on drums. It also can be side chained, so using it on a sub isn't bad either (though it doesn't release as fast as I would like it to.)

I snagged this up - I didn't wanna miss out... Too bad it's not something as cool as last year with Skanner, but I can do with another crunchyish thingy. Actually I'm not too sure what it's supposed to do...

I've had a little use with it for giving kicks and snares a little thump. Not really sure how good it is for synths and whatnot, suppose it'd depend on how you use it.
