We should make a thread for software that's on sale or something.

Nah, it doesn't happen often enough to need a thread for it. It would quickly get buried and forgotten.

I'd just like to point out that 8dio and Soundiron are also having large sales right now.

This isn't a sale or anything, but I recently found out that FabFilter offers 50% off if your a student, with the only restriction being that you can't resell the software. That's a crazy EDU discount, and I would recommend downloading the trial versions of their stuff to see if you want any.

I originally thought I would wait till next year to grab the new Komplete, but the promise of Action Strings, Damage, Razer and other stuff for $350 sounds too good to pass up.

crossgrade discount = $200, upgrade = $75 (or that's how they show for me)

crossgrade is for if you don't have Komplete yet but you do own something like Reaktor 5 already, they'll give a nice discount.

I've heard really good things about it, and it looks pretty cool, but I don't own it so I can't say for sure.

I'll be getting Komplete Ultimate in the mail sometime this week probably, so if you want to hold out on buying I might be able to post a review before the sale is done, depends on shipping.

I'm really excited for Razor, Action Strings, and Damage, but the rest of the pack is a pretty nice bonus for not too much more then I would normally pay for a Kontakt library.

Yeah, I'm gonna get Razor. Looks right up my alley :D
There's a waveform that works pretty similarly to the ultrasaw function on the minibrute that I'm just dying to mess with.

I did it. I bought Adagio. It cost an arm and a leg but I got it.

I FINALLY OWN ADAGIO! YES!

EastWest is also having their usual big sale, too.

http://www.soundsonline.com/

You can probably disregard the Dec. 9 cutoff date, too. I've seen their sales like this last through New Year's. For as often as they have big sales, you're probably getting ripped off if you buy something from them when there isn't a sale.

I bought massive the last time it was on sale and I can also vouch that its incredable. You WILL use it if you get it.

I'm a little pissed, when I ordered my Komplete Ultimate upgrade they told me it would ship in 5-7 days. I still haven't received order confirmation and the site now says shipping times are an estimated 4-6 weeks. I'm getting a new computer soon, and really wanted to have all my software ready to install as soon as I got it.

Also Massive is amazing, it should serve almost any of your synthesis needs, unless you want the sound of FM, or something like Kyoga's cloud synths which use way more oscillators then it provides.
