Concerts in my area?

My birthday's coming up the 25th (Huzzah!) and I thought it'd be cool to have my parents take me to some kind of concert. My question is, does anypony know of any good electronic musicians coming somewhere near central Texas around that time? Can be pony or non pony. (Btw my favorite artist is silva hound so there's a pointer)

How about checking the "Texas EDM Calender".

Looks like Rusko and Adventure Club are playing near that date around the texas area.


Of course they may have rules against allowing minors at any of the venues, if that applies to you.

And Rusko is playing at the Lizard Lounge, which is a great place.

Hey there, you are a Texas? So am I!! I live in Austin. Next Wednesday I'm going to see American Authors, The Royal Concept, and Misterwives and the Wednesday following that I'm going to see The Limousines and MONA. But none of those are too electronic so idk. The Limousines and The Royal Concept are sort of electropop so you might like that.

Some of the best electronic musicians from Texas are Astro Kid(he regularly does live performances in Austin), Michael Guy Bowman (I think he does concerts sometimes), All Levels At Once (he said he doesn't do any live but he is from Austin and he is the best. he also used to be Pony.), hrmnzr (she's in Houston, I don't know if she does the live). I also met these guys at ACL a few weeks ago who make EDM, they would be Ju Teion and Rockpony (not MLP).
Honestly I don't know much on the EDM scene in Austin as I'm more of an indie rokker but if I see something I'll tell you.
Also next week some of my friends are going to see 21 pilots which I've never heard of but the opening act there is Robert Delong and he is simply the best in electronic music.
I'll keep you updated about anything I hear. It's nice that there is another mlr member in the area ^_^

aw that's not that far though ^_^ Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World and I'd suppose that the closest you can live to it the better.
