the band!? I heard of them at first being compared to a band that I like, The Limousines. Then they got real famous with their song Safe and Sound and other than that I don't really know any songs by Capital Cities.

But seriously NV please look up some songs by The Limousines!! I really love their music. A few songs are vulgar but it is worth it for the amazing musicianship. My favorite songs are Love is a Dog From Hell, Very Busy People, Internet Killed The Video Star, Swrdswllngwhr, and Fool's Gold. And their cover of You Can Call me Al and Temptation!! You really have to listen to these people. Also I got to see them live in November and they had an amazing setup for the synthies and stuff so if they tour near you I recommend going to see them 300%. These guys are really lovely.

I'll actually be living in a capitol city for uni soon. I'm really excited for it! The place I'm going has a really nice arts district. Like, nice theatres, galleries, museums. When I have the spare time I'm definitely checking some of that out.

I like the city feel too... there's just something I like about living in a high rise apartment... or an apartment at that... currently though I have no need of living in a city... although I do only live 30 mins from the CBD here

I have never ever liked capital cities. Amsterdam is a hell (to me). Horrible traffic, poor behavior of the general people, huuuuuuge, I just don't like it.

I know... just someone mentioned about living in a city so I commented on it... also I agree
EDIT: Anybody got a list of similar bands? because I love this style of music

Passion Pit, Strange Talk, The Colourist and Two Door Cinema Club are what I can think of that are most similar in my music library.

No idea, but Rob Swire has stated that Pendulum will possibly be back either this year or next; which is much better news!
