Short answer; yes.
This and more will be put in next poll.

I think that I could better go for the 16GB one, as it's just $5 more. (To BaC and Pyr3, I can pay that part myself :3 I'm not 100% broke)

Here is an idea, instead of doing a super collab (which could get very crazy) we do a stream of remixes.

Here is how it would work.

One person would write a song, preferably with lyrics. When they are done, the put the midi file and the stems and an instrumental onto the flash drive.

When the next person receives the flash drive, they will remix and/or cover the song. When they send out the flash drive they will add their midi file, stems (if they covered it) and an instrumental.

If space becomes an issue, then they can simply post a file containing a secret link to the stems, midi and instrumental.

Rules:
1. You may not share your remix and instrumental files publicly.
2. You do not have to finish your song before sending the flash drive again. (Just give us what you have.)
3. When you publish your song, give credit to the person before you.

On a different note (pun slightly intended): Will there be a way to update our information? My address will probably change in the next month or so, and might change a few times over the next year.

See, the problem with that for me is that I don't really like/get inspired by remixing.

And on top of that, it would cause delays, possibly lots of hassle, and whatnot.
A recipe for disaster... No offense, Jasper.

So when will this start and since I'm living in Hong Kong, should I expect to have a chance in receiving the USB?

Well, you kinda do, Simon. The only thing is that the sender has to be good at writing :/
Idk, really. We should figure something.

As to when this is gonna start, I'll post the second poll asking for the addresses (please don't PM me) in three days, after the final counting. I'll order the USB (I'll probably go for 16GB), post all big info, and make preparations for first shipping (including initializing the USB and making the webdirectory etc etc).

The one thing I worried about with the randomiser and stuff. Is say it goes to a country i.e. America. Then the next person will be from america because most members are from there. Then say it's on the last person from america currently on the list then a new person joins the list from america and this continues happening there is a chance for the USB to get stuck in america, also due to this someone who say signed up second may have to wait for a long time because they are the only one in their country. Also the addresses should not be in the randomiser, the person just gets the name and they have to PM that person to receive the address, security/privacy guys.

That's why I think it would be better just first come first serve. Even though the USB may bounce around and more international shipping would need to be paid, but we're shipping a USB that can fit in a letter envelope and does not way much therefore cheap shipping.

Huh. Yeah, I guess it wouldn't be a big deal to be shipping the thing between countries anyway. I'm down with a first come first serve list.

So far, that has been the idea the whole time.
It's the easiest to manage too.

We can always decide to let more people in for round two.

Yeah, if it was going to be an ongoing thing, but rather than just let people join the list whenever, we could have an initial list of participants, and as soon as the first cutoff date ends, we could start compiling the next list so as soon as the last person on the initial list gets it, we can jump into the second list. And therefore, it will be ongoing!

Mainly because it's easier to manage.
People who wanna join afterwards will be put on list for second round.

Plus, if we have people joining at random times, like you said, someone who got on the list right in the beginning might end up getting the drive much later than some of the people who jumped in later on, because of the way Exo's program will randomize the participants, and I know you said we don't really need to do the webapp thing, but Exo's kinda already set on doing it that way. Anyway, it would support that whole first come first serve thing you were talking about, right? :3
