The way your doing is quite unsecure... It's very easy to hack into a database and grab all the data

Don't think so.
Very secure password protection and all.

My dad's not a fool. It's his profession. If this is unsecure, he would've been without work ^_^

You the think passwords are secure? If I wasn't on probationary watch I would prove to you how easy it is to hack into databases

So, you're going to go against a guy's knowledge (who actually knows more than you think on the issue), and somebody who builds databases and websites for a living and say "yeah that's crap mate, a baby could hack you"?
For shame, Acsii, for shame.

Also, who the fuck would even want to do that? Like seriously who would go out of their way to hack into a system to get what is a very small list of useless information in the grand scheme of things, coming from a bunch of guys from a small forum tucked away in a corner of the internet? That's assuming they even find out ..

No offense. :3

Yeah, I mean what's someone gonna do with my address? Mail me stuff? And i'll be off to college next year anyway, so it's not like it'll be useful forever.

If something like this occurs, one can just simply mail a replacement address. Those are the only exceptions for after the deadline of submitting.

I still think having a deadline on signup is a bit dick-ish for people who wanna join later into the thing... this is designed to just go on forever... or until it gets lost...

The idea is that you can submit per round.
After round 1, new round, new participants (doesn't mean you can participate only once).

It's hard to program this thing if it's ongoing and you want to insert addresses on-the-go.

The question is: will the ride even start (on schedule)?

If we tell him that it's suppose to start at a much earlier date than it actually would start... then maybe we can get it so that when he's finished procrastinating he starts the ride when the real ride is supposed to start!

I can vouch that this usually works in real life; we do it all the time with my habitually late cousins.

Ah I never realised that there was gonna be more than one round... We should put a limit of people per round and as well maybe you can only go in every second round

The site development has been idle for a full week because of both me and dad having been occupied with other stuff with higher priority.

Good that you remind me though, I'll get my dad on it again. Gotta finish this asap :3
