It's a job that the government only gives to the "smartest" men in the Navy.

Keep in mind that not everyone takes the job, it isn't offered to any other branch of service, and you have to be really, really, REALLY qualified as a civilian in order to get a similar job.

Basically, and not to toot my own horn, I feel like a complete fucking badass right now. I'm really honored that my country wants me to serve in this selective of a position.

lol nuclear engineer more as in nuclear power used to run ships and submarines, not the nuclear missile type
