On my other forum ( lego animation forum) I explained why didn't like this trailer. In short it's cuz they are cheating and taking shortcuts in the animation. If they go through so much effort to make it look stop motion animated, why not be authentic and make it more interesting to watch than the other CGI films...

I only really liked the music they had, which I am desperate to figure out what it was, because I heard it before, I am also gonna watch it, because I hate to judge before I see the full thing, except for when the had their Twilight saga whatever bullshit, I can hate that all I want without watching it.

I completely agree. I know a lot of lego fans like to make lego people, but accepting that into canon on the BIG SCREEN just destroys what's left of Ole Christiansen's vision. That storyline's so clichéd. And those CAMEOS? and POP MUSIC? This whole thing just stinks of pandering to me.
