What other instruments do you play?

Since I haven't seen a thread like this, plus apparently the search engine disallows me to search for threads with "instruments" because the keyword's too common, I've decided to make a thread.

So, aside from making music on your computer, do you play any instruments? If so, have you taken exams?

For me, I've been playing the piano since primary school and took an ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Exam on 11th April this year, and I got a pass with distinction.
That's also why I wanted to create this thread.

HEY, another RCM person. I'm currently working on level 10 (I'm doing all the harder (hahaha, actually its all easy stuff [except advanced harmony; screw that]) theory this summer)

But I currently play piano the best, but I'm proficient in pretty much all the brass instruments (my parents both originally went to college for trumpet/french horn and trombone), most of the orchestral strings (violin, cello, bass, harp), a few of the wood winds (recorder, clarinet). And I have basic knowledge (I consider primer to be "I can play the whole tune of 'Ode to Joy' in tempo") of saxophone, tuba, autoharp and guitar.

Sadly, I only have been able to buy a trumpet, trombone, recorder, and guitar (which I'm still learning) and don't get a chance to practice a lot of them frequently enough to stay in top shape.

I have been playing the guitar for 3 years.
I use my keyboard more than anything, but I wouldn't call myself a pianist.
Sometimes I pick up my bass or ukulele for fun.

I've played guitar for nearly 9 years, and bass for about 4 (they're actually totally different to play, for all the "it's the same thing!" guys). I also started singing about 3 years ago. I'm now taking keyboard lessons via college, and I can sorta play my girlfriends ukulele, if you want to count either of those as something I can play, hehe.
Also, I haven't taken a single lesson ever so I'm quite proud of myself.

Maybe a "Looking for an instrumentalist?" Thread could be made similar to the vocalist one? Y'never know - somebody might need one!

Oh yeah, durr, I played viola for a year. I hated it. (The viola sounds awful IMO) So I quit. Then I forgot how to play it. And how to read music...

I learned how to read music during guitar classes (no tabs for me :3) and solidified that knowledge during EM class when I had to use Finale. I quit trombone mostly because my band teacher was an ass and thus discouraged me (unintentionally) from continuing with band. I would've chosen guitar over continuing band though.

Only played drums for about 6 years, still have my drum set hiding in my house, but I haven't touched it since grade 12.

Other than that, it's all been synthesized music for me, I wish I took piano, or guitar or something like that before....

I play the piano pretty well. I still take lessons but I decided with my teacher to just ditch the traditional learning methods so I just play whatever. I guess I'm pretty good, but there's some stuff I need to work on.
I can play like five or six chords on the Ukulele. And I know how to play stuff on the penny whistle.

I play percussion, for both curricular, and recreational purposes. I can also play piano horribly and plan on learning how to play my guitar over the summer, but other than that, I'm primarily a percussionist.

I switch instruments a lot. I played guitar for about 4 years and drums for almost 6. I started guitar when I was 8 and quit when I was 12. I started playing drums when I was 9 or 10 and I still play those. I've always played bass just for fun.

I can play piano a little, no real training, I just kinda fiddle to teach myself.

Also, I strummed a guitar once.

Piano, guitar, violin, and recorder, I suck at all of those to various degrees. The thing I'm the best at is singing, and I'm by no means great at that.

Brass Boy over here, Played Tuba in band for 2 years, trombone for 4, trumpet for 3 and the Euphonium

I also played piano for around 6 years and once played shamisen, but I forgot how to play it

I play guitar and bass. Self taught, so no exams of any sort. I'd love to learn drums.
