So I've jumped on the wagon (thanks XKCD) and started playing GeoGuessr. So I figured that I might as well start a thread for cool things you've found and challenges.

Here's some:

My best- Score to beat 15475

From a Friend of Mine Score to beat 16085

Another of Mine Score to beat 12429

Yet another friend Score 16,936 points.

Ends up that living in Brazil has helped me quite a bit (with a few exceptions). Man I know that highway system well. Also, I sadly didn't save the one I did with a snowmobile trail in Svalbard. That one sucked.

I was hopping on here to reference XKCD and then I was disappointed...

But yeah, Geoguessr is fun from what I've played of it so far. My internet is too slow to have smooth gameplay, but I've determined that I'm pretty bad at it (though I am quite proficient at the Airplane Game)

I landed near a hotel named sunglow or something, and I spent a long time finding it, but I got like the exact location, but I used quite a bit of time, my score was not very high

Oh yeah, could someone post the xkcd thing, as I havent read it, and dunno the exact rules. Like, would googling stores and stuff you see be cheating?

I could totally google the comic myself though, that was stupid, nevermind.

Its not rules or anything; its this:

But yeah, I'll leave that for future forum goers.

I was proud of myself for picking out Hatteras.

Some places are baffling, no lie.

I just tried playing this and every time I would guess something it would be in Canada and I always got it wrong
So then I tried guessing canada every time and I got 7472 points
three out of the five places were in Canada
That is a lot of Canada

I did it!

Although three of them are super easy. I probably could have figured out a fourth among them if I hadn't been stupid about orthography.
