Everypony Media List Help/Suggestions

Hey there, esteemed artists! I'd like to humbly ask your help in something we feel important and potentially benficial for all you out there that have graciously permitted us to use your music and to those who would potentially allow us to in future.

We are in the processed of adding a new Everypony Media section to the site, which contains all the tracks of an artist, the details and youtube embed for all of our contributors. These contributors will have artist accounts on our site and will be able to add and edit tracks so that they stay up to date and as accurate as possible.

One issue we are having, however, is what to do in the labelling/catergorizing of collaborative tracks. We want to ensure all of the involved artists are given equal credit for the work, but we are unsure of how we can do this. We've considered ideas such as putting the track under all artists, making a particular catergory for collaborations, asking the artists where they would like it put, but in the end we've reached a blank about what we'll do. System restrictions mean we can't link the track under both artist accounts. This is where you come in!

You are the artists, so we'd be very thankful if you could help us in dealing with this problem we're having. What would you like to see? What would be ideal, and how could we comprimise if the system we're using doesn't allow it? We'd appreciate any help you could give. Thanks in advance!

Perhaps the lead contributor's name, with the classic "featuring" of "feat." the secondary contributor's name. In any given collaborative song, it's not usual that you have a literal 50/50 contribution.

That's a tough call.

find a workaround, like the collabs could be under a blanket collab account, and if there's another field like "short description" or "other", you could link all accounts there that worked on a particular collab...
that said, i know nothing about your system, just trying to give ideas

If it is really 50/50 may be you would just upload the track twice?
