Show us your workshop/studio!

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

I don't believe hardware synths offer anything software synths can't though...

Aside from being 'touchable' and, indeed, being very sexy. :P

They may not offer anything softsynths can't, but you need 4 or 5 really good softsynths to do everything the virus can do. On top of that I really like how rich it sounds.

I always have a drink next to me when I'm on a PC. I refill my glass every 30 minutes or so. I've been doing this for at least a year now and I've only spilled my drink ONCE and that was early in the morning and the worst thing that happened was that some random useless papers got soaked.
Seriously, I can't sit on my PC without a drink.

EDIT: Although, now when I look at the pic again, the drink is strangely close to everything for some reason in that picture, I usually have it further away.

Then please, at least use a bottle, which you can close D:

I only recommend it to you, for the safety of your hard/software, and your wallet :3

I mainly ask because I want to get into live DJ-ing by the end of the year, but have no idea where to start.

Right now I can comfortably say I'm at the "producer," stage, but have no idea how to setup live shows, and what kind of equipment is involved. I obviously don't want to be the guy performing live that ends up pressing play and does nothing more.

If I can get this down by the end of this year, my squadron might let me DJ for our holiday party, which would be awesome for me, in addition to saving my squadron a lot of money.

I have been a DJ for almost 4 years now, I play weekly infront of ~1000 people and have played main stage at a local festivel! If you have any questions PM me (that goes for anyone else too).
