While I would consider it a bit of an honor to be involved in a Skype chat with names as big as I'm reading, I don't think it would be worth it. Sounds like a bunch of people (maybe with a slightly high ego) posting about stuff I don't really care about. I would never get heard, so I'll stick with what I've got already. I'm content as it is.

Megaskype? Yes. It's a cesspool.

Yeah the Megaskype is kinda a throbbing mess right now. From what I've seen, people who are active within there now just further the impression that it's the back-alley of the musicians community, rather than steering it away from its stereotype. It's certainly not what it used to be, and that upsets me so much.

Speaking of stereotypes, do you know how fed up I am of hearing that "I'm the troll of MLR" or "I'll ban you at the drop of the hat" stereotype? It drives me up the fucking wall. Most of the people saying it don't even know me at all. Why have you gotta pass around gossip like that?

Ever since the Megaskype dissociated itself from MLR, it became my chat, and my chat alone. It was not a "oh I'm a brony musician, that gives me the right to be in" chat, but then I did a bad job of enforcing that rule. Yeah, it was a clique. I guess you could say "you had to be cool to get in" - that's just the way it worked, and I'm sorry.

In my opinion, the MLR official chat isn't much better. Actually it's probably worse. Please ban me from that group so that I cannot ever be added. I really have no need nor desire to be in there at all.

For the longest time I've thought about locking the Megaskype permanently - it's now just an afterthought that just hangs on the back of my mind. It's really a tough choice (considering one of the last few messages in the group included this), and perhaps a stupid thing to get frustrated over, but I've just got to do it. I've so many memories from that once great group - it depresses me to see how it's gotten. But then, myself and my friends have moved on, anyway.

I'm appointing StormWolf as the leader of the new Megaskype, or Ultraskype, or whatever he wants to call it. Go nag him instead.
