What was YOUR first forum you joined?

If you explore the internets, chances are you will find and join a forum. So i was was wondering, what was the first forum you joined? or is this your first forum? tell your story!

Ill start off i guess

So the first one i joined was for this game called Mars Explorer. and the forum was pretty sad. It was a super basic forum. there where no signatures, no categories and you couldn't even choose an avatar for your profile. it was hosted by plexpedia. supa supa basic.

The first actual forum I joined was BZPower, the fan-run BIONICLE site. Before MLP, BIONICLE (alongside MYST/URU) was "my thing", and my biggest role was in a series called Dark Hunter Despisers/Legends Of The Matoran.

OH!! that reminds me, i guess my very first forum was actually the LEGO message boards. that is probably where i grew to love the internet.

My first forum was/is called "Fuska". (basically means "To cheat" in Swedish)
It was like the name implies, a forum based on cheat codes and other exploits in video games. I joined that forum when i was around 8-9 years old, and i still visit it, occasionally. Meet alot of nice people there that i still talk too.

I joined my first forum ages ago. It was a gaming forum, Gamespot or something. I remember it was full of teenagers writing unintentionally hilarious Sonic clopfics.

there was a forum called Home of Music that was one of the first good EDM sites with mp3's that i discovered. Allowed me to get a load of UK styled House & Trance and they also had some of the first mashups before they were called mashups (stuff like EVBTG acapella on ATB). While it died a long time ago. I've been on Rate Your Music since 2004 and spent a good chunk of my years there and its still quite active.

PokeCommunity. I still love the way it's made with awards and stuff like that, with me also writing one (and in turn receiving it). Account's still active, but... I just don't go there anymore.

This one lol. I'm kinda new to being apart of online communities and stuff, since my previous hobbies consisted of being drunk, playing metal, screwing around aaaaaaaaand thats about it haha. -.-

Luckily, I stopped partying like a crazed maniac a while ago. Still love the metal though!

I remember NSider, I miss that place. =( And Camp Hyrule, I'm still sad they shut both those down, I'd probably still be going there sometimes.


Gamefaqs back when I was 8-9, because the people on the Perfect Dark board were funny. Then I found a board called Random Insanity, and active'd that place till I was 15...what a strange place.
