so is there a group where MLR participants can collectively release music. like a monstercat for MLR but not restricting genre, only quality?

There's no special advantages for releasing music thru MLR. You can post your track in the feedback section for feedback (which will be helpful). I'd recommend sending your track to the bronies group if you're using soundcloud for additional eyes on it. Send it to EQD if you have a youtube. I would say they may just throw out remixes of Discord and Rainbow Factory at this point as they've been remixed to high heaven.

Strong black coffee and a cigarette. I dont drink the cigarette, obviously, but that is basically my morning diet.

I load up on coffee at home (cream+sugar), generally about 2 cups. mdew at lunch when its a day off. When its a workday its pretty much 3 dews over the day....

I have a very unregular morning rhythm.
One day I wake up 7AM/9AM (school/CCL), the other day I wake up 1PM, or maybe 11AM.
I kinda don't drink a lot this time around, for some reason. Don't really know why either, but I should drink more.
I just usually blast some music on the speakers when I wake up (turning off the Ambient I go to sleep with), because usually I'm the last one to get out. A good way to start the day in my opinion.

Oh and by the way, I finally got to uploading my set at last DJ competition. I did have to decrease the video size a -little- bit (from ~750MB to ~150MB), which took some sound quality with it. If you're interested, you can watch it here. (Note that there's some Dutch speech in it, and in the last few seconds you see my irl brony friend :D )

I'm sort of halfway at that. I'm up at 6 am 2 days of the week because morning lectures, and then like 10 am or onward any other day. I don't like getting up at 6 am :I

But yeah I usually just have a coffee and try to remember to eat breakfast and not lapse into half sleep when I shower. I'm not a morning person.

So today I watched a coworker pull an unconscious kid out of the pool. Luckily all he had to do to revive the kid was simply start CPR (do the head-tilt chin-lift). That cleared the air way, and the kid coughed back to life. No parents around at all. My coworker said something later on that I think will stick with me for a long time. "They say eyes are the window to the soul. Well I looked inside and there was nobody home".

So after acoustics in the morning, I got to mix a song in Protools today. And honestly I feel really good after that, I can wrap my head around what they're teaching us so far without any problems, and I'm enjoying all my other classes, but doing something practical in a more familiar setting gave me a chance to...idk, come into my own? Shine? I dunno, it was just nice to do something I know inside and out.
