Thanks man. That was just craziness leading up to it. I got 2 hrs sleep the night before because i was stressing and my brain wouldn't turn off and then my 2 besties didn't have their normal rigs so i couldn't play off their standard dj setup. Was going to use Tiff's gear but they didn't transfer my music onto it in time and then they were having all kinds of technically difficulties. TBH using the Djay app on the ipod was such an easier method then trying to work Tiff's complicated rig and HE had all kinds of issues on his set instead. Dodged a bullet. Was a good convention and I hope you had lots of fun.

Oh my god, you played with Djay?! Okay, mad respect for that one. Can't say I have a lot of experience with it, so take this with a grain of salt, but let it be known I have little experience with it for a reason hahahahaheheheheeeeeeheeeeeeeyeah I really hated it xD

Also, BaC, self-awareness commonly has elusion taking the rear. From the talk we had while you were there, I figured you'd be struggling with that, though I didn't say much at the time. All I can say is: have faith in yourself, and if your mind ever makes things uncomfortable enough to hinder any progress, take in the world around you and fill your head with heaps of non-negative randomness. It'll drive away the nagging voice. From there you can take control :)

I might be going too fast but what you said sounded awfully similar to something I experience a lot myself. I can't guarantee this'll help as everyone's different, but I think it could still serve some use for you!

Well, crowded is the first word I would use.
They planned for about 40 people. And the only people that could go were the top-tier VIP people.
Turned out that a large amount of people had the VIP status. So, really it was like everyone had the same priority rights.
About 50 people showed up to the lunch and I was later in line. I had to wait for a new table and chairs to come in and stuff.

Luckily for me, someone volunteered to leave the table with Black Gryphon because they wanted to eat with their friends and there wasn't enough space at that table.
So, I sat next to a bunch of super fans and had lunch with black gryphon for a while. And also with the person who was running the entire con. (Or I think it was him.)
I don't really know any of his songs so I wasn't like, super excited to see him or talk with him so I was kind of quiet and let the other people chat with him. Super cool guy though. I like his positive energy and stuff.

He was switched out with Michelle pretty soon after and Michelle came to sit down at our table. I mostly let the other people talk with her and just listen in. But I also asked her how school works for her and that kind of thing. ( "homeschool")

I wasn't like, feeling all that into it while at the lunch. I am not a huge of of big group conversations because it's hard to get a word in. And I also hate having to talk across a table instead of being next to the person. So I kind of left early. (I was also pretty tired of being at the con in general. It wasn't exactly what I was hoping, but I'm not sure what I was hoping for.)

All I know is that I'm probably going to give the legit bronycon a try and see if I can go with a friend.
And also, I was the super smash champ at this con. Might be worth mentioning since I destroyed the competition.

I can imagine I'd react similarly to the situation, especially if I went on my own. A plunge in the deep without much to hang on to is oftenly numbingly frightening.


I had a fun Super Smash moment yesterday. It was break time inbetween lessons, and we were sitting at a table with a few classmates, talking and/or silently working on sick tunes, and suddenly one of my better friends in the group took out two wireless ... uhm, PS4 controllers I believe. And he asked me if I wanted to play Smash with him xD
So he beat me every round because I hate that console (am used to the Wii controls too, this was hard shit). Fun shiz yo.

Some days, the sickness is repressed and other days causes us to not do a whole lot at all. :/

I don't think the fandom is quite dead. I just think that a lot of us mellowed out.
Lost that "pony high" and now the ignition won't spark.

4 realsies, there are a lot of great creators, and even more great people in the fandom. It's not dead. It's just lost its novelty factor.
My guess is us who poned through the early seasons got kinda used to the fandom growing, and now it's kinda leveling out. The people wheren't to serious about pon are leaving, lifestylers are staying. We aren't having a bunch of creators doing pone stuff for easy "fame". Idk... The fandom is changeing. Not dying.
