In Australia I'm sure we have a similar word but it probably contains the word 'cunt' at least 3 or 4 times, as all of our slang does.

In swedish we just say Petig. Pet means poke, and -ig turnd it into an adjective... So 'Pokey' as in pokeing stuff is our word for nitpicking... Interesting huh?

So this year I didn't have to have an awkward lunch with all my extended family that I barely know, they couldn't make it. Not having to answer questions about everything I've been doing every 2 minutes was really nice.

Not to criticise though, but life is what you make of it. I don't know your situation, but I'm sure you can do something to improve it. Idk, find a few local-ish bronies on facebook or something, and sugest a gettogether? Idk, do something drastic! Not "run around town naked", but ya know, try something you'd never thought of doing. Invite a homeless guy for xmas dinner or something... Could go bad, could be fun.

How about a book on electronica by Laurent Garnier, the Switched-On Bach album (that started the synth craze and electronic music as we know it; funny how it's now by Wendy Carlos) and the extended I Dream Of Wires DVD?

I just finished reading the mlp book Journal of the Two Sisters and I think it was great.
I know a good number of fans want the show to have stuff that follows Celestia and luna. This does that.
Is about their past and it goes into some cool stuff about the transition between equestria living as the three pony tribes to when Celestia and luna become princesses and about how they got their cutie marks. Star swirl is a legit character here.
I think it's interesting to see how Celestia is actually super similar to twilight about being crazy smart and reading. I wish they made it longer though. I want to see about the original discord conflict(s).

What this story did was start off with Celestia and luna already being characters. But it has no mention of their family, or why they are alicorns.

It also makes me wonder if princes MI amore cadenza is a reincarnation of another character. Or something like that.
Also makes me want to know how that one guy took over the crystal empire if it was such a strong protected place in the past.

8/10 good decent fun read.
