Can't say I agree with your decision to try and defend us, though. As nice of a gesture as it is, it's probably best to let them have their laugh and move on. Better letting them get it out of their system than leaving them with a genuine dislike of us.

I always thought Dubstep forums was full of fucking elitists. Haha just goes to show people can't have any free will on the internet without being judged.

I really don't think they were being "too harsh" or anything. In fact, some of them were being quite courteous to Ocular and explained to him their thoughts, when they very well could have simply laughed him out.

While they see MLP as any other girly show, you really can't blame them for that. How should they really know? It simply looks like a bunch of dudes obsessing over something like Barbies or Strawberry Shortcake or something similar.

Yeah tbh they fell in with the familiar "omg they music about cartoon horses" (which is a bit weird mind you in normal society), followed by fiesta equestria (which is quite embarassing), and the fact that some of it isnt necessarily good (which is a bit true). But let's realize we shouldn't come across off as defensive when we're not being openly mocked and when we do introduce ourselves let's realize we are embassadors for our scene. If you wanna post there be civil, undefensive, and most all friendly (or just ignore the thread if you can't do that).

But this is all part of being a brony musician folks. Just because you may have been doing this for a few months or years doesn't mean that it's not weird to newcomers.
