You know what, this thread actually annoys me, a lot. You all jump on the damn "People always complain when things change" bandwagon without significantly justifying it. Taking YouTube as an example, they have completely redesigned how the site works and completely focused its discovery service based solely on search criteria and popular YouTubers. Usability, functionality and overall ease of use have been comprimised, as well as some accessibility with regards to the UI, not to mention inconsistencies betweenbrowsers, unannounced new features that seem to activate at random, and a general lack of focus. Not to mention holding its users to ransom, saying you have x days left to upgrade, else we do it for you. There is no alternative, so I really don't see the point in this countdown, other than the fact its obvious they have sunk an unthinkable amount of money into this new design and don't know why. Yes, we'll get used to it, yes, we'll inevitably complain when it gets changed again, but I ask you, if we changed the forum settings so that the newest posts wereon the last page, and the oldest posts were displayed first when clicking a forum, would you simply ignore it and move on, or would you speak up and tell us how collossaly fucking stupid we were for thinking it was a good idea?

Complaining about functionality does not mean expressing distaste in aesthetic choices, end of thread.
