I've always been interested in other forms of artistic mediums other than music. Good visuals have always been pleasing. Sadly I can't draw, and most of my digital design is god-awful! I wanted to change that, so I tried taking steps towards something that really interests me: glitch art.
I've done these by processing the raw data files of the original images as waveforms and processing them with time based effects, EQ sweeps, and compressors!
Cuts, compression, light phase, and light delay
Chorus and lowpass sweeps:
Just phase
I'll post more when I think of something new that looks cool!
I'll also compile a bunch of raw data as WAV files for a sample pack. You could probably think of some cool applications for them, maybe some cool neurofunk basses if you run them through a vocoder! It just sounds like some real Renard-y shit haha. I actually got the idea to do these after listening to his tunes, go figure.
