bronies on the radio?

We all love it, otherwise it's unlikely you'd be here. Talk about the show and the fanbase surrounding it. Brony music discussions encouraged.

Brony music that isn't explicitely pony played on the radio = good
Brony jokes on the radio = bad.

I think that covers everything.

Brony artists playing on the Radio?

Sure, I think thats a brilliant idea. I would love to turn on the radio to hear Glaze's Heartmender.

Pony music on the radio?

No. That would be very out of place. We have Ponyville Live for a reason.

We're not that special B.A.C.
I got played on the radio once.
A big deal it was not.

I know we aren't that special, I just don't hear anything brony on mainstream radios often. I just wanted people to play some songs on the radio from the brony community, or troll them in a smart way so they don't even know they are being trolled, but the bronies who hear it would understand it, and all of it would sound like a normal conversation or something.

radio guy: we are taking callers of people who just have had crappy days that turned into awesome days. call this number (*says some phone number)
phone call: hey (name of dj on radio). what's up?
radio guy: nothing much, tell us your crappy day that turned out to be great.
phone call: well, at my college the other day, my cousin came over to visit for a week. But we had our differences, and he was kind of a jerk to me. She met some people at the college who I personally did not like, and all of them ganged up on me at the library taking my stuff and throwing it around like it was "monkey-in-the-middle"
radio guy: what? how old are these people? five?
phone call: I know right? Anyway, later that night, I confronted my cousin and she apologized to me and it was kind of awkward. The next day when her "buddies" from the previous day started to insult me again. She got in their faces and made them back off. Now my cousin and I are pretty close buddies.
radio guy: well that's pretty cool. blah blah blah (*continues taking calls)

this would be an abstract reference loosely based on the episode with Babs. Of course, that sounds like it is just a normal story, is very believable, and a Brony would go, "Hey, that sounds like that episode from mlp when (blah blah blah) and the radio guy gets his story, and the bronies inside the loop go, "heh heh heh".

don't just say no. if you disagree, give valid reasons as to why this particular hypothetical scenario would not be cool.

Obviously most people here disagree with the idea, sorry, but whats stopping you from just doing it yourself?

and its a presumably false story just for the sake of being the slightest pony reference.

This thread'll be locked pretty soon methinks.
So I'm gonna put my 2 cents in.
What is the point? Call up a radio show and tell a story sorta kinda maybe a little reminiscent of mlp? To what purpose other than just one guy having a giggle? I mean, most people don't relate everything back to mlp. Even if they did, this would just go right over their heads.

And at the end of the day it's just a TV show. Would you call up a radio station and say "hyur hyru I like family guy!!!!"? What makes mlp any different? Nothing does, and honestly, it would just make you look stupid.

B.A.C., are you new to the show and the fandom by any chance? The way you act is reminiscent of someone who's still on a severe pony high (a phenomenon that occurs in people who have just discovered ponies for the first time)

I wouldn't do that with family guy, but I absolutely would call every radio station to tell them I watch The Walking Dead. [/sarcasm]

Yes, he's still a ponyfag don't kill me, I got the term from funnyjunk, it just happens to fit so well. Who knows how long it'll last. Mine lasted the better part of a year, with me going through everything from crying because I knew that one day the voice actors for mlp would die, to having a huge hatred for cloppers and shipping.

I've kind of been into mlp for less than a year, so I guess I'm still on the pony high. whatever, just lock the thread. it doesn't matter to me anymore, it's just a bunch of disappointment and No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, and no. (and my story was pretty lame I'll admit. I wouldn't even actually do that.)

And for N.V., the name was only because I'm seriously unoriginal and lame with coming up with names and I wanted to join this site back in february, and did not have a good idea for a name. If I could change it, I'd probably make it: biohazard or my psn name: nkriska131

and the hypnosis thread was just because "why not"

anyway, OP wants this locked now, and give Mr. Bigglesworth his two cents

Depends on what definition you're using, different sites have different definitions of ponyfag. Like on /mlp/ the posters refer to themselves as ponyfags instead of bronies, because "brony" is the word that people associate with fans like the OP, and /mlp/ wants to distance itself from that part of the fandom as much as possible.

It's a bit hypocritical considering the state of the board nowadays, lots of threads filled with porn, fanfiction, and other things along those lines (hypnosis, tulpa, etc)

TT:Incorrect, those less inclined to appropriation/homophobia on /mlp/ call themselves horsefuckers to not be complete pieces of shit.
TT:However, every pone-fan who isn't a /mlp/-dwelling hounded motherfucker should just stick with brony/MLP fan/small-horse-enthusiast.
