Nah. The spin-off comes out in spring, and the next season comes out in about a little more than 6 months. Two different times.

Y'know, I don't see what the big deal is. Twilight just got a pair of wings. That, and I can totally see an episode where Twilight doesnt want to be an alicorn/princess because she doesnt feel ready or like it was her "destiny" in the first place. It might be something along the lines of "my destiny is right here with my friends in Ponyville" and Rarity is all like "ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" and Spike is all like "are you sure you want to do this?" But Twilights is all "Yes" and has a big epiphany speech and things go back to normal. It could happen!

I though we were talking about Equestria Girls, not Twilight's wings. Anyway, my hope is that Twilight will ditch her wings when she decides she wants to take her destiny into her own hooves like you said.

But on topic; on a personal level I dislike the fact they came up with humanized ponies in the first place, second I don't care that it's geared towards "teen" girls, and third why oh why?

But to be more serious on the matter, as with anything in life, I'll just have to give it a chance before I start raging hard about it. Most likely, it won't be as good as MLP:FIM, but might be watchable at the every least.

My biggest gripe with the designs is the boots.

Am I the only one who actually kind of likes the designs? Everywhere I look I see people complaining about them. Sure, the show's probably gonna suck, but the characters could look much, much worse. And that's coming from me. I hate anthro stuff.

Actually, I'm curious about what they're going to do with magic. I see wings but no horns...

I edited this off of someone's edit which got rid of the terrible pointy chins. So it can now actually pass as a human being.

Also WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH RAINBOW'S HAIR. SERIOUSLY.
Do the character designers honestly not know how a rainbow works? Its definitely not orange, blue, yellow, gold green. I mean seriously, how hard is it to look up a color spectrum on google images. NOT VERY HARD.

Anyways, I can totally see this ending up very similar to LPS, but without pets as some of the main characters.

I've never seen LPS, so I don't know if that's a bad thing or not.

The rainbow hair isn't correct for the ponytail (the order is off).

Well, whatever. I still think it looks fine.

As for lps, I quite like it. It's not quite as good as MLP, but it's definitely up to par with it. Definitely check out an episode or so, if you have the time for it.
