When I first watched the new ep when it leaked, I always thought the ending was different than how I thought it would turn out. Meghan McCarthy tweeted the other day that the "Wonderbolts Academy" episode originally had a different ending, which confirmed my suspicions and began my speculations.

I think the original ending had to do with Spitfire not wanting Rainbow Dash back into the academy after RD quits, and Spitfire would wholeheartedly accept Lightning Dust as her best student. In the end, Rainbow Dash would have realized that she would much rather stay with her friends instead of with the reckless Wonderbolts and Lightning Dust despite RD's dream of being a Wonderbolt, which would have been a much wiser decision on Rainbow Dash's part.

But like, the whole point of Dash's character is that she's always chasing her dreams and striving to be the best, right? So the creators must have decided to change the ending into what it is now, so that Spitfire had a change of heart like she did, and RD is accepted into the Wonderbolt Academy again, while Lightning Dust gets taken to the RAINBOW FACTORY.

It's kinda like the original ending of Scott Pilgrim VS The World, in which Scott Pilgrim actually ends up with Knives Chau instead of Ramona, but it was changed because Ramona was pretty much the point of the film.

Well. That is... Interesting, to say the least. Really does bring up questions about Spitfire's personality. As well as almost everything to do with the Wonderbolts. Especially concerning whether or not Dash will become a wonderbolt, or not.

I liked the song. Racist Barn all the way.
No I generally don't like...whatever the hell that's called...blue grass, but because its Applejack and I absolutely love Applejack way too much than I should, I like the song. The lyrics were pretty lazy I agree, but it fits the situation, its catchy, I CAN'T HATE IT! APPLEJACK IS SO AWESOME!!!

Her letter to the princess...Celestia FINALLY got something so yeah. Anyway, that's totally relatable. Sometimes we try to make something perfect but it turns out to backfire. The best family reunions is just going there and spending time together.
