[HALP] Dumb question about ASIO Driver

Postby DJ TATCM » 17 Jun 2013 08:19

This might sound like a really stupid question to you pros, but I'm having trouble in FL Studio, per the norm. I configured my ASIO driver thing to start working again (thank you SO much Lavender Harmony for the tips from way back!), but now, when I use it with FL Studio 10 to improve performance, the in-built volume mixer on my laptop won't affect the application in any way. Is this a normal thing, and if so, how do I adjust the volume so that I don't burst my eardrums? Do I absolutely HAVE to use the Master Volume thingies at the top/on the mixer? Any help for this idiot would be greatly appreciated :D

Huh, looks like it kinda works. There's no option for "ASIO Driver Codec Thingy", but the "Independent Headphones" works to some extent. Never thought about switching the audio device through the mixer, thank you so much!
