I figured this goes here, because there's a section on synths, and gear can and usually does effect technique. If not, I'm sorry! xD

WHAT GEAR DO YOU WANT/NEED!?!

I'll be adding more and more to this list as time goes on, but right now the biggest things are:

Haken Continuum Fingerboard
12 string acoustic
Fender Jaguar
Baritone guitar
Tenor Guitar
Korg or Kurzweil synth (both are good)
Marshall JCM900
new mic

We talkin stuff we're actually likely to one day get, or shit we're only dreaming about? Meh, I'll mix 'em both on this list =P

--Rickenbacker 4001 (HHHNNNNNGH)
--Fender Stratocaster
--Fender Precision Bass
--A proper guitar amp
--An understanding of pedals, then some pedals
--A mandolin
--A ukelele
--Reason 6
--A non-shitty computer

Gotta admit, I'm pretty well in love with the sound of my Fender Jazz Bass... She needs some new strings badly, though. Been over a year since I put the ones on she has now, which is pretty egregious...

I use these. They sound like sex when they're fresh, and I can definitely see why Chris Squire decided long ago that he needed to have fresh strings for every bass guitar every gig.

-M-Audio Axiom 61 Midi controllor
-Melodyne But i'm too skeptical of cracked versions and viruses.
-Virus Ti synthesiser (Lol goodluckwiththat)
-A bigger bedroom
-A bigger desk (My current one is 90cm long and has my computer tower on it... My speakers squeeze either side of my keybord and i have to use a mini thesaurus + dictionary to prop it up so wires can come underneath.

(That's how ghetto my workstation is).

Ooh, and time to learn stuff. Taking double the number of subjects of everyone else is absolute bollocks. Hooray for gap year once my A levels are over.

propably because monitors now have either 1680x1050, or 1920x1080 resolution, but you have a bit older 17", which most popularly have resolution of 1366x768
