So I got these things and I must know the good are they yes?

So

I went back to my grandmother's house because of school stuff (I go to school near my grandmother because the schools near my mother are very very bad), and she gave me these headphones as a late Christmas present (I didn't see her for Christmas, or at all during winter break. I try to avoid her as much as possible):

I don't know if anyone else has used these, but are they at least decent for mixing? I would search for myself, but I kind of feel like I can't trust many people outside of MLR (mainly because I saw some people on music forums recommending Beats headphones for mixing...), so uh, thanks in advance.

Check amazon and do a general google search for the name of the model AND "review". Hopefully you can get some good feedback this way. I really doubt you'll get anything from mlr on a single headphone model (but then again maybe you'll get lucky). Good thing is they don't look like crap. Hopefully you got a gift receipt so you can try and return if you don't like them...

It's decent, it's cheap though, as in the price and physical quality

I tried those out in a store one day (They have headphone demos) I went for the M50 instead but they're pretty similar in terms of sound quality, It's good for mixing, decent for mastering and a little bass heavy. They sound great if you have a Digital analog converter

Lol, they sell those at the local music store where I live. I wouldn't mind getting a pair myself, so this thread should come in handy

I own some, they're pretty good for such a low price. So yes, I'd say they aren't bad. They're only like $60 though, so they're not pro level but as I said they're decent.

I got to use them a bit, and I'm quite pleased with them. I'm hearing sounds I couldn't hear on my other earphones, and it sounds a lot more clear.

Definitely better for mixing than what I was previously using (earbuds...)

You don't need a cabinet full of cleaners to make a sick track

Good to hear! Earbuds really aren't ideal for mixing, even if they are pricey ones. Audio Technica is a reputable brand, so I doubt they would make a poor product.
