It sounds like the attack on the lead synth at the beginning is too fast, it gives a small click at the start of each note.

Umm, I'm not too sure why you think that switching DAWs will change how your music sounds? Explain that part to me. Also, this should be in the music subforum

Besides the minimal effort put towards mixing and all that I'd say you are doing pretty good with ableton so far. It sounds like you got the basics of arrangement figured out well in which case you could start moving on to more fun stuff like automation and effects/effect racks.

Really get familiar with abletons EQ 8 plugin. It a very simple parametric EQ that you should use on every channel for mixing and snd shaping purposes.

The mix wasn't too bad volume wise, it just needed some frequency cuts here and there.
