I'm bad at all the technical parts or whatever, like, I have no clue what any of these things are;
compressors
limiters
sidechain
eq'ing
filters

I thought a limiter was the same thing as a compressor, and now I'm lost as to what a filter is. I'm pretty horrible at anything that isn't the actual composition itself.

A filter is pretty much a tool that you use to cut out certain frequencies. It's like a less complicated version of EQing.

I can't seem to make electro/complextro. I don't know what sounds to use or where to use them. I made a Madeon-style song once and LOVED making it, but I can't think of how to make something like it again.

It seems most people are having trouble with mixing and mastering... my advice to you guys is to read EVERYTHING possible on the subject. Test things out as you go and try different techniques with different songs. I developed (what I think are) some really good mixing techniques in only 3 months or so. I made it my top priority and went at it for at least 3 hours a day. It'll take a while :l

Pitch bending. Why must Logic make my life so hard when it comes to pitch?

Kind of like the day I discovered how to reverse audio, and went mental with it, I think something similar will happen once I gain ultimate control of pitch. I bought melodyne, but with no serial there's no point in owning it.

I've been terrible about learning how to mix and master; I've been spoiled by having people to do it for me and having the income to fund it (though they're pretty inexpensive, at least). Eventually, a good buddy of mine will be teaching me how to use all the software and hardware that I have in a mini-studio setup I've managed to put together. I've gotten started, but it's all quite overwhelming to me, and when little errors happen, I'm all like "WAT DO =( "

It's so unbelievably annoying I spend hours just trying to make one sound and it slows the production of my pieces. ;_;

You mean sound design, right?

I think I'll order my weaknessess in how importend they are too me :)
mastering:
By far my biggest problem, Everything sounds really "flat" I don't know how to make a "full" sound

Arranging:
Chord Progression and knowing what instruments fit together, or how to "use" an instrument right.

all other Problems are atm rather Minor
I make different kinds of music, often get told that It sounds like something for a Video Game because I make only instrumentals, never had a chance to make music for an actual game. I would love to.
