The solution to this problem, I have found, is liquid dubstep. Just pump some sub-bass into a track, and you're pretty much working with dubstep at that point.
Just don't put too much sub into it, like I do

If you use FL Studio, you might find this guide useful. If you don't, I'm sure you can learn something from it anyway.
