Nintendo NES VST

This is the closest thing to an actual NES that you will find that's... well... not a real NES. Not even FamiTracker can stand up to this.

Used in my Remix War submission and a few other pieces that I've written a while ago. Works like a charm.

Thanks, was looking for a good NES sound VST a while ago. Somehow didn't find this one.

It took me a while to find it.

Either way, only a NES can beat that. If anypony here uses FL Studio, I can give you a decent NES base pack, which I use for all my NES making nonsense.

No problem! I've already figured out most of how the VST works, so just ask me if you need anything else!

Okay, I'll write a tutorial on using it. Most of it is pretty self-explanatory, but I guess not.

I managed to figure it out... But to me it seems to be a foreign language because of all those VST related words. The only words I understood were "square" and "triangle".

Pretty cool little VST, although I'm still a FamiTracker/LSDJ purist. :)

I wish I knew hoe to use a tracker. Those things are mindbogglingly confusing.

You don't load it, you create it. There are five different envelopes that can be set. The one you'll be needing the most is volume though.

A friend of mine did a tutorial on exactly this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwNElW5IEo0 If that doesn't help, give me a yell. You could also join the FT forums and get a similar response.

If needbe I can upload a few of my .ftms to give you an example.

Honestly, trackers are the easiest things to use in the world. Nothing is hidden out of view, which is good when you are looking at and learning someone else's module.
