Using my own drum samples in Cubase 5

Postby UnderpΩny » 22 Jan 2012 16:24

How do I? I use Groove Agent to make beats, so I know how to do that. Now I want to use my own drum samples, and not just the ones that Groove Agent uses.
So
Say I have a bunch of .wav files that I want to use to make my beat.
How do I do whatever it is I have to do to be able to use them as drum sounds controlled by MIDI. What VSTi do I need to get, or can I just do it with Groove Agent. Is such a thing even possible?

You could just import your samples as .wavs and copy pasta them all over the place. If it's really necessary to have them controlled by MIDI, I don't know. You'll just have to look for a VST that accepts third party samples.

Importing audio happens like this:
-go to 'file'
-choose 'import'
-and then 'audio file'
-find your samples
-Done
