HELP!! Stripping Background Noise from Samples.

I love samples!! Samples rock!!
But songs are what lead to remixes, and songs FROM the show are recognizable. The trouble is, they already have music behind the vocals.
Soooo..... I was wondering if anypony could tell me/teach me how to strip background music from samples... or if it can even be done. AlexS' 'Party with Pinkie' has every pinkie solo song sampled in it, and I didn't hear ANY background noise. So I'm convinced it can be done.
I just don't know how!! Somepony! Anypony!! I need to make more remixes!!

noise gate and mono/stereo eq, are what allows to make acapellas of some songs, but when it comes to songs from the show, you can use surround sound version to make acapellas too

just so you know HOW they do it is they seperate the actual tv epsiode sound from the center channel from the surrounding speakers (left, right). that leaves almost only dialogue in that channel and a great thing to sample with. a great service to the community.

I have a Center Channel Extractor in Audition for pulling Vox out of songs, I could probably work it to extract and save.... thanks everypony!!
