Series I'll be working on

Postby Kryptage » 12 Jan 2012 17:19

If there is one thing I wanna do for this community I really would like to help new musicians or even old musicians, who may not be as good at mixing as they could be, get better.

So I'm hoping in the next few weeks to start putting out some mixing tutorials, coming from me as a self taught mixer, to anyone who may be struggling to get clear or clean mixes. It'll be starting off really simple obviously, and I'll be using Fl Studio, however, I'll be doing my best to speak generally so any DAW you're using you can apply the concepts too.

I think the best thing I can do for now is ask if anyone has trouble with something they might want help with, to see maybe if I can use those ideas for videos later on.

I hope I can help atleast a few people. I'll make sure I post the first when I put it out.

Thanks for reading.

Awesome, as someone who is just getting into FL Studio this will be a big help to me. I've watched hours of tutorials already but I feel coming from a fellow brony musician it might be more easily understood for me, especially since you're self taught and have made a decent amount of music already for the same purposes. It's appreciated and I'll be watching for it!

I was actually planning on making a series of tutorials to teach people their way around FL as well. I've used it about 3 years now, and that's another thing I hear a lot of FL users have trouble with.

Maybe I'll try and kick start that a little sooner than I was planning.

Oh. 2 people are going to start an FL tutorial? Maybe I shouldn't start one...

Edit: Oh, one is for mixing.
