Sorry, but it should be a new remix.

No, the limit is 2 songs. One must be a collab, and the other a remix.

Question: I don;t have a youtube. Can i upload with soundcloud?

Also, can enteing as a collab or remix be optional? I only want to do a remix.

Since this is a broadcast over Celestia Radio, a youtube video isn't necessary, but the website requires an entry. I'll see if I can get that turned off somehow, but if I can't figure it out, just put in any link.

You can do either a remix, a collab, or both.

So I'd say I'm pretty much done with the most important parts of my remix, but it has occurred to me that I might want to not only make an instrumental remix but also include lyrics as well. The problem is, there is no a capella version of the song and I can't sing for shit. Am I allowed to ask someone in the brony community to lend their voice to the remix, or would this be against the rules? The singer would have no hand in the actual mixing process.

I don't think this would be a problem. A simple "Ft. VocalistName" at the end would indicate their part.

You could message the person you're remixing and ask them for an acapella.

So I made this yesterday, isn't the best and It's also not mastered yet, The new vocals haven't been added yet, Bass isn't strong enough, it goes on... but eh~

Would this work?

[PonyFirestone]+[MEMJ] - [Flight](RIDIUM 'AAG' Remix)

Aww shit, I didn't see the no preview thing at first *_*

You can title your song as such: PonyFirestone, MEMJ - Flight (RIDIUM 'AAG' Remix)

Or you can do this PonyFirestone - Flight feat. MEMJ (RIDIUM 'AAG' Remix) but it's a bit more unwieldy.

Also, I removed your link, please keep those secret until the end of the remix war (you can show your friends to get advice still).

A: Absolutely! We WANT people to take songs they like and put it in their own style.

I like how this question has been copy-pasted ever since Remix War II, despite being very strangely worded - "or something that isn't dubstep".

Alright, got my remix sorted out.
Now, I'm an 'electro/progressive house' musician, looking for a 'heavy dubstep' or 'drumstep' artist to collaborate with.
Hit me up on skype if you're interested (informations are on my page).

I've started my remix now, I think I've got something a bit different that you guys are gonna love :D
I'm hoping it's going to be a real change of pace.
I also may be doing a collab with Pipsqueak for the second part, if we finish it in time... and we haven't really started yet XD
