This project is an awesome idea, but you're going to have to be careful that you don't mess with the melodies like that.

I gotcha.

We'll try our best not to bend the melodies.

I'll try to do a sketch-up of what I've got working so far.

Perhaps if we gather suggestions, and then figure out their chords, and then see which is the most common?

I did a test run if you guys wanna take a listen for me.

Unfortunately, SoundCloud doesn't like me right now (upload interrupted for some reason), so here's a download. Might wanna turn your headphones down.

I would recommend using something like dropbox so people don't have to download the file just to listen to it.

Also, I think it sounds pretty good, but I have no ear for music so take anything I say with a grain of salt or whatever that saying is.

Another thing, the rapping bit, imo, doesn't really apply quite as much because rap doesn't actually need to work with the instrumental like singing does as far as key and such.

Does that make sense?

Dropbox sounds good, I'll try to get used to using it.

And yeah, it makes perfect sense, the rapping I just threw in for fun.

And plan to keep it in. Some of them work well for transitions, while in other times, it's just because I can :3.

In the final product, I imagine most rap bits accompanying actual singing.

This project sounds hella fun! Stepping up as a vocalist, and I could help out with instrumentation as well if you wanted guitars involved somewhere ..
Add me on Skype or something :3

I do, but i'll have to wait till after all my AP tests are over before I really get involved in a project like this. After next week ends, remind me and i'll stick it up here.
