What instrument is this? *SOLVED*

I know this might seem really random on a pony forum, but I would love it if anyone could identify the wind instrument used throughout this song (I assume it might be the instrument that is shown at 1:37 in the video, right after the trumpet):

At first I thought it was just a trumpet, but it has a very awesome, nasal sound to it. I've fallen in love with the sound of the instrument, but I can't go searching for samples without knowing what the instrument actually is.

Any help is most appreciated!

It sounds like a trumpet, but its' timbre is different than a normal trumpet. Hm, I'm guessing it's just a trumpet from a different part of the world that sounds different (you know how different culture's instruments sound different), but that's just a guess.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well. If that's the case, too bad, because I doubt I'll find a Turkish trumpet sample.
