Mush's 80s stuff

Postby Mush » 08 Feb 2013 04:47

Hello!

I have decided to share with you my synths I use when I make my 80s music, all manufactured in Harmless.

https://soundcloud.com/stevenmagnet/003-1
Here is a little example I threw together using the patches in the zip file below.

[Pack 1] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/78325270/Mush%2 ... rmless.zip
[Pack 2] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/78325270/Mush%2 ... k%20II.zip
[Pack 3] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/78325270/Mush%20Pack%203.zip
[Sample Pack 1] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/78325270/80s%20samples.zip

I hope you guys like them and they can be of some use for you, somehow.

I didn't know about the kick, I just seemed to acquire it. And the snare and foothh are Lav's pack.

And also some new drum samples, most I have sampled myself or have found that suit an 80s style.

A lot of synths can be used for 80s stuff. There are stock sounds, sure, but disco did trickle into the early 80s and some songs that do sound 80s are really from the late 70s (Like some of the early Van Halen and other glam rock bands)
