Jungle Vines, An Equestrian Hype sponsored Jungle Album.

WOO! Released!

https://equestrianhype.bandcamp.com/album/jungle-vines

After the successful release of Back to Bass-ics, which was an old school dubstep album, the next album in this pseudo-series will be known as Jungle Vines!

The idea behind this one is to make a jungle tune that is, but does not have to be pony related, and I promise, this is not a R&R knock off, because Jungle!!

Submissions should be sent to my email using a file sharing website such as, box.com or media fire.

Please send all Submissions to exobasstix at [email protected]

DEADLINE = July 2, which will be subject to change but I promise that this album will be released a lot sooner then the last one!

Have fun with this one and if you need a reference as to what Jungle is check out EqHype's Youtube
More info coming soon-ish

July 2nd? Great, that's plenty of time! I've already started my tune, it's hopefully gonna sound a lot like A Guy Called Gerald and 4hero when finished.
I like music, and I hope that music likes me back.

Guys, I think I'm gonna have to pull the plug on this one. I have like no motivation to keep this up and there are too many other projects that I want to complete or finish.

That being said if you guys would like this to happen still then by all means keep it going, I'm just not gonna be able to organize this one.

My apologies to you all.

Ok then, In that case I nominate myself in place of YakFace!, unless there are any other takers.

In which case we shall have a duel to the death. With DAWs.

Send your tracks to my skype (in my sig), I'll make sure to look them over. This seems like just the kind of thing to help kick off Shiba Crew.

I want to keep this up. We need a Jungle compilation album.

Do know that I know nothing about Equestrian Hype.

Equestrian Hype is basically a pretend record label set in Equestria, and the music released is all oldschool dance music. Mallard Puddleduck set the label up some time last year, but he got so busy that he handed over the role of running the label to me (since I was already an artist on the label and we have very similar musical tastes). Hope that helps you out.

And good to see this album idea isn't dead, too. I just got some more ideas for my track today.

Hey, I have the beginning of a tune here: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Jungle%2 ... Hbk7k7Djeg
It's not quite as padded out as I'd like it to be yet, but I think it's on its way. Could someone listen and give feedback please?

Sounds good! Although the two separate parts are a little disconnected. Try adding a simple motif that carries between the two perhaps?

eery wrote:weird panning on that synth introduced at first, the entire steromix is quite weird, honestly, I can imagine this not sounding the best on mono. I quite like after 00:50 with the dissonant pad.

Other notes....I like the subbass, but I think its a bit too low, I feel you can give it just a few more frequencies, to give it a bit more presense, or layer it wil another bass. I also keep feeling it could be a bit faster, but eh, don't.

This is really cool, many good sounds, and the dissonance on the pad work surprisingly well. Good job, not really much to say

The panning is a little strange, I admit. It's mostly because a lot of the samples I used (including the pad) were already panned off-centre when I sampled them. But yeah, I'll try to at least get the pad in the centre. And good idea with including some higher notes with the sub bass, I often forget to do that.

I was going to include some rhythmic sounds to lead up to the change, but a simple motif could also work.

Thanks, you two. I'll keep your ideas in mind when progressing further :)
