Some people have time crunches so get it done really early. Some like to submit multiple. There's lots of reasons some people might do that. It's their choice, so y'know. At this point, we're gonna have to choose the final songs on the album, so it will only hurt them in the end.

They don't want a 15 minute song, and they don't want a 40 second one. 10 minutes is probably the upper limit for stuff like prog house, and I'd say it should be at least 2:30 in length.

Remixes are allowed if the artist you're remixing gives consent or you're within legal boundaries of remixing. You know, creative commons and all that.

That's true, but there's just as much stuff surrounding the current deadline, plus R&R right before. When should I make the new deadline since it seems like it's necessary?
