Perhaps you've heard of the Legacy of Discord project? Perhaps you were greatly saddened when it ended, either because you didn't get a chance to participate, or you wanted moar? Well, be sad no longer, because THIS AUTUMN.... in a world where obsession with Order has became a strangling way of life.... ONE creature DARES TO DEFY uniformity..... and FLAUNT the status quo. (You're supposed to imagine all this part said with this guy's voice.) Brace yourself... for the RETURN TO DISCORD. In theaters DAWs this fall-- Legacy of Discord 2: Revertetur ad Discordium!
The basic idea: Add four bars (or eight; more on that in a minute) to the project. Pass it on to the next person (pony). Have fun!
More specific RULES. They're slightly different from last time, so please pay attention. :3

1. Everyone and anyone can join!
2. Please do not mock or deride others' contributions. This is for fun, not for producing High Art. (Though, if High Art should happen to result from it, I'm not complaining.)
3. Submissions must consist of two parts! The first, and most important, is your new four-or-eight-bar section, rendered in WAV or AIFF format. The second is the "full track" rendered in MP3 format (no lower than 192kbsp, and preferably at least 256kbsp), which shall consist of your new section added on to the most recent "full track" MP3 that the last contributor posted. (The idea here is that the full track MP3 will give us a good sense of how the track is progressing overall, but being in MP3 format will keep the file size from growing unmanageable. The separate WAVE/AIFF sections will be stitched back together once the project is finished for optimal quality.) If you're really super lazy, just submit the WAV or AIFF part, and someone else (probably me) will make the MP3.
4. If your section changes to a different key, different tempo, and/or different time signature, please tell us the new key, tempo, and/or time signature when you post. Also, try to make sure that your DAW doesn't automatically change the tempo of the previous "full track" MP3 when you import it for rendering or anything wonky like that.
5. Submissions should be four bars long or eight bars long. I recommend using four bars if your entry is slow or moderate (like maybe < 120 BPM?) and eight if your entry is fast (maybe > 120 BPM?). Last time we were kind of lax about entry length, and I think that worked okay: just, y'know, be reasonable. It's okay to include a little bit of an introduction from the previous bar, or to add a downbeat on the next bar. If you want to slightly modify the previous entry to lead into your own, please add the modified bit to your WAV/AIFF section, and please use the WAV or AIFF version of the previous entry; but meh, we'll survive if you use the MP3.
6. You pretty much can do whatever you want, music-wise. Uh, keep the swearing and obscenity to a minimum, I guess? Not that I expect that to be a problem.
7. I'll be PMing people to remind them when it's their turn. If you don't have a submission ready within roughly two days of it being your turn, your turn may get skipped. But let us know what's going on--like, if you're allllmooost done then you can take a little while longer; but if we don't hear anything from you, we shall have to assume you aren't contributing for that round.
8. If you do need to cancel your turn, I think it would be reasonable for you to get added back into line at an earlier point than if you were starting anew. E.g., if it's about to be your turn and you say, "Guys, I can't make it, but can I have the next turn?", then you would get a chance to go again after the next submission is completed, instead of being added to the end of the turn list.
9. You can go more than once, but give others a chance too, please!
