Anyway, I'm lacking in inspiration - could someone recommend me some good grimdark fics?

I finished one not long ago but it most likely won't be able to make it on EqD or anything. It's a crossover with House of Leaves, and if you've read that you probably know why. If you haven't read the book, give my fic a shot...you may enjoy the book, which is 20x better and longer.

Also Sweet apple Massacre is pretty bad, although I don't like the writing.

If you have a few weeks and like reading, check out Stephen King's IT. Not pony related, but it's the most terrifying book I've ever read.

You could give Silent Ponyville a shot. First grimdark thing I ever read, though certainly not as blatantly gruesome as Cupcakes, of course, but I enjoyed it.

I also seem to remember being shown a grimdark Applejack story that was reminiscent of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

...might have been Sweet Apple Acres? Anyway, it was another blatantly horrible and disturbing one.

Ooh, "Silent Ponyville" was good (though I have yet to finish the first, heh) and the Applejack one might be "Sweet Apple Massacre" with Big Macintosh and he-- er, it also had the CMC I mean.

I want to make it eerie and then brutally eerie. I'm going to need to do a lot of cutting sounds, and some slicing against skin. Knowing me, I'll be sorta masochistic and actually use a knife against my arm as a sound effect.

One- yes, you can use it.
Two- no, I'm not going to cut myself, it's sort of a sound where two knives slide off each other, but fainter.

If my producing computer weren't corrupted and stupid, I would jump on this right now. I should have everything straightened up around wednesday-ish. Anyways, does it have to be centered around a specific grimdark aspect of the fandom? Also, why don't we send attachments instead of links to mediafire? It would just simplify things a lot. (Obviously if there's a reason that's fine)
