Sounds like a plan! Would you like to use the auto submission system, or just stick to emails? Might be best to use email, since you won't have access to the entries list though.

Oh, that I wouldn't know. I don't know what kind of implementation Finale uses to play the samples, although if Finale simply loads up an instance of the ARIA sampler (that's what Garritan uses), I suspect there has to be a VSTi .dll file somewhere... But I wouldn't know, sorry!

In the meantime I already have three ideas for songs that I could try and work out. A jazz piece, a folkrock piece and an acoustic solo. At least I'll have plenty of time this time around :)

I will make something for this. It will probably take me a week or two, altogether, and I'll be submitting it way early, but sure. I feel like making something for a good cause.

I just make a song and submit it to that place you instructed us to submit? It's just that simple? Regardless, I want in on this. Plenty of time over the summer to work on it, so I can do exceptionally well for once! Count me in.

Now, I'm debating. I've gotten something pretty cool right now, and I was literally just about to release it on You Tube.

Do I hold on to it till August, or submit something different? Hmmmm.
