WHAT FRESH HELL IS THIS?

MODERN TALKING IS THE DEVIL AND YOU ARE ALL GOING TO BURN IN PONY MUSICIAN SUPERHELL FOR THIS.

ALL OF YOU ARE DEAD TO ME. MODERN TALKING IS A DIRTY, DISGUSTING WAVEFORM AND NONE OF YOU SHOULD DO YOURSELVES THE DISSERVICE OF ABUSING IT.

I should lock this topic because I'm so disgusted, ew putrid modern talking, ugh, ew, oh my *hork* ugh.

Is there a deadline for this? If I've not missed it I'll make something. Heck if I have I might do so anyway.

So, I liked the idea of this thread. So I figured I'd have some fun!

All 100% Modern Talking, minus the drums.
3/4 into 4/4 swing, dubstep.

I did my best xD

I forgot all about this thread. So I'm a bit behind. Anyway...

I've decided to make it no deadline. No album or anything. Just have fun with it.

HEY DON'T BE SUCH A MEANIE THIS IS MY LIFE LONG DREAM AND WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT LOVE AND TOLERANCE BIG MEANIE GOSH DON'T BE SUCH A PARASPRITE.

So I listened to a few songs people posted, and I was pleasantly surprised. You guys are coming up with some good stuff. But I don't think everyone was getting what I meant by making it not sound like Modern Talking. So here's another example.

Basically, what Kill The Noise did to make that is he used a Massive patch with Modern Talking, then used a distortion pedal to modulate it, and it sounds AWESOME. So try some stuff like that (lots of effects, modulation, etc.). But still, great job. Even with some joke posts, I'm seeing some good stuff.

Yeah, I kinda tried for the intro, and then I thought it would be funny if I just said "fuck it" and overused the yoi sound.

By posting your track here; I'm pretty sure this never went through as an event, just as a fun community experiment.

I lost the ability to use massive so I had to super-impose the demos synth samples throughout, resulting in this messy take. This is also the original demo for another song of mine called Bringer of the Sun.

Modern Talking is probably the most harmonically DEAD waveform I've ever had to work with. This is hard. =/

Drums aren't too bad. Distort it enough and you can work with it. xP Even dubstep sounds aren't too hard to come up with because you get something cool and then distort the crap out of it.

It's leads, pads, and cool non-wobble basses that are impossible with this stupid thing.
